Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an extremely contagious disease believed to be spread mainly from person-to-person contact and has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. The African Methodist Episcopal Church (“AME Church”), its Women's Missionary Society ("WMS") have taken steps to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and to mitigate health and safety risks for all of its meeting attendees, volunteers, staff, sponsors, vendors, and other participants (collectively, “participants”). These steps include, but are not limited to developing and implementing a Meeting Health & Safety Protocol, and complying with all applicable guidance from the NICD, the Center of Disease Control of the United States and the World Health Organization. Accordingly, while participating in the meeting maintaining social distancing when possible, and it is recommended that face coverings be worn at all times, except when eating or drinking, to reduce the risk of exposure of COVID-19. However, no one (including the AME Church or the WMS) can guarantee an event free from the risk of COVID-19 or that meeting participants will not become infected with COVID-19.

Scooter reservations/rentals will be handled through a third-party vendor. An orientation will be required to obtain and operate the scooter rental. The African Methodist Episcopal Church (the "AME Church"), and its Women's Missionary Society ("WMS), nor its employees/agents/volunteers are not held responsible/liable for any accidents, injuries sustained while operating or from scooter usage.

The 12th Episcopal District will be holding their Host Event  - "Chucks, Denim, & Pearls" on Thursday, January 25, 2024 @ 7:30pm. This is a ticketed event and the cost will be $70.00. Additional Information and the link to purchase your tickets will be in your confirmation email.

Cancellations/Changes and Refunds must be made in writing and e-mailed to your Connectional Office @ [email protected].

• Refund requests prior to December 1, 2023 will be made at seventy-five percent (75%) of the registration fee. 
• Refund requests made after December 1 through January 3, 2024 will be made at fifty percent (50%) of the registration fee. 
• There will be no substitutions allowed. If someone can no longer attend they will need to be refunded and their registration canceled. 
• Due to problems with previous year's registration process, every person will need to pick up their own kit and present ID. 
• No refunds will be granted for cancellations after January 4, 2024.
